MT: Other than that, how was your honeymoon?

Post by seamusTX »

A 22-year-old woman admitted to investigators that she pushed her newlywed husband off a cliff in Glacier National Park during an argument. The man fell to his death. She compounded her legal problems by allegedly giving several false accounts before confessing.

She has been charged in federal court with second-degree murder and faces anywhere from 14 years to life in prison.

I read this one. Just horrible. Hope she gets the book thrown at her!
If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

I could only speculate. Sometimes people get on the wedding roller-coaster and go ahead despite obvious problems.

I knew a couple that dated for years, all through college, got married, and were divorced in a couple of months. They didn't try to kill one another, though.

Cody's death has been ongoing questions/news up here. I say we push her over a cliff and see how she likes it, eh?

I told my wife before we got married that divorce would never be an option - she asked me how I felt about murder.

My wife and I also agreed before taking the vows that we would not consider divorce (we're Catholic). We've managed not to kill one another for 33 years.

Unfortunately, the idea of "starter marriages" and bailing out permeates American culture now, along with the horrible example of celebrities getting married and divorced and cheating (as well as beating).

I've been married about a half century all told. Neither I nor any of my wives felt the need to shoot the other or push each other over a cliff. What is with people these days? :leaving
