Oh good, I was hoping you all would be discussing this case.

This guy is mental! It's hard to believe he held the job he did when he was normal, or was he ever?

I'm not so sure about her looking for him. Seems very odd that she would come looking for him after hearing gun shots.

I'm so glad I'm not on the jury on this one. Whew, what a mess he made of it.

After their deaths, authorities said a car linked to Brady and Kifer contained prescription drugs that had been stolen from another house, apparently the day before they were killed. Court documents from another case show Brady had burglarized Smith's property at least twice in the months before he was killed.
Those poor kids might still be alive if the justice system had locked them up for their earlier crimes.

Shooter called the teens vermin.

I'd say this guy is toast.

Too bad Minnesota doesn't have the death penalty. If he was here in Texas and I was on the jury he would be walking the green mile.

Fox reported today that the guy even had a cell phone blocker, how you get one of those I don't know. This guy is crazy though and that will end up being his defense. Perhaps after 8 breakins he became crazy. Who knows. If your house was broken into 8 times what would you do? If you were sane you wouldn't record what you were doing. Therefore one must assume he is insane.

Worst yet, he expressed glee.

Anyone who is forced to kill in self-defense would be best served conveying regret, or better yet, conveying no sentiment at all.

Based solely on the info we've been given, sounds like the proper verdict.

Yep, just based on what I have seen it is the right call.

Turns out he knew these kids! They had worked and stolen from him before.

I think the verdict was correct.

He knew them.....that really hurts my heart. I can understand shooting someone in a panic when they are breaking into your house, even to be batcrap crazy enough to think that putting them out of their misery is the right thing to do. But this......I am glad he will not be in public anymore. I think he more belongs in a mental institution than a prison.

It looks like justice was served to all three of them.
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.
