The suspect in the first shooting was identified as Esteban Santiago, Fla. Sen. Bill Nelson told reporters. He said Santiago was carrying a military ID, but did not elaborate.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Hard to believe that 3 states require open carry in terminals. That must raise a few eyebrows.
God and the soldier we adore,
In times of danger, not before.
The danger gone, the trouble righted,
God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.

They are still treating it as an active shooter situation is ongoing, but there is a conflict between TSA who says another potential shooter and the mayor saying it was an unknown noise in the garage.

My bet is the latter. Prayers to the victims. R.I.P.

News conference about to start and it does sound like it was one shooting, with witnesses hearing from all sides and reporting it. Reported so far is 5 dead, and 8 injured, but that's before the official conference starts.

Wow. Shooter came in on a flight from Canada, had a checked gun in baggage, claimed that and took the gun into the restroom and then came out shooting.

All luggage heading to US are scanned at the port of departure. I smell a stinky story here. Someone transferred the firearm at the restroom.

This was the police chief saying it, with the FBI next to him.

Are you saying that you can't check a gun on a flight to the US?

Correct. On international flight you need to have a export and import declaration/licenses depending on the case.
If he has LTC in FL, is he a US citizen, why he should bring in a firearm from Canada?

I know they said he arrived on a Air Canada flight but did the confirm that flight arrived from Canada and wasn't a connection from another airport within the US?

I see a knee jerk reaction from TSA or the Airlines themselves forbidding ammunition in baggage.

I see. I am completely unfamiliar with those laws as I'd likely never try to carry a gun out or in to the country. I wonder if there is certainty that it was from Canada, vs. a Canadian Air jet flight in the US?

Reporting now that the shooter has some things on his record, domestic violence and assault from AK.

Wonder if it was a flight from AK?
