Not really sure where to put this.

Man standing in front yard shot at by drive by shooter at 3am.

Man returns fire at moving car.

Kills two in car, wounds one.

So is this really the story?

Obviously man in yard has skills.

Skills or a gang banger who sprayed and prayed and got lucky. Wonder how many rounds he unleashed and with what type of weapon.

Why does anyone need to carry a gun in a civilized society?

He just happened to be standing in his yard at 3 am with an AR? Sounds like there may have been some prior knowledge that he was going to be targeted. There will probably be more info forthcoming.

In the middle of the night a family was tied up and pistol whipped by four intruders. Uncle from next door arrives and saves the day by shooting all four, killing one.

What's the murder count up to in Houston so far this year?

When is law enforcement in Houston going to get serious about criminal gangs?

Versus concentrating on how to keep guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens?

Didn't take long for old technology to catch up to new technology. Getting an Amazon Now delivery at your home at 11:00 pm. What could possibly happen?

Robbers hold up the delivery driver in front of your house. They take his wallet, cell phone and maybe the package of cookies for the next stop. BG's spoiling a hard working man trying to make an honest day's pay.

So how are we not now a third world country? Ok we don't have Uzi men guards in front of our houses, so we're not there yet.

Your front yard or driveway apparently is the most dangerous place in Houston.

Another drive by murder. Doesn't even warrant more than a paragraph or two.

Burglars kill the mans dog.

Stole $35,000 worth of clothes? Jordan's? Sounds like he may have talked to much about his wealth.

Four high school students decided to armed rob a store to get money for the senior class trip to 6 flags over Texas.

After the robbery they returned to school unfortunately for them with a tracking device in the cash. I guess students bring guns to school and rob places on their lunch break.

And just think, three of them had already been given college scholarships.

I wonder if there is any hope for mankind.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and guess those weren't academic scholarships.

Teen mom killed by boyfriend at Strip Club.

Boyfriend actually meant to shoot a man standing next to her. Hit her twice. Also shot another woman standing next to his girlfriend.

Another shooting in my neck of the woods. Fortunately, it sounds like the shooting was in self defense and the two robbers were the ones shot.
