Not so surprising - we're the 3rd largest city in the US. Adjusted for population size we're only the 8th.

8. Houston, TX

7. Anaheim, CA

6. San Francisco, CA

5. San Diego, CA

4. Chicago, IL

3. Mount Pleasant, NC

2. New York City, NY

1. Los Angeles, CA

4 of the top 8 are in California. I noticed that when I have gone there that there are a lot of very angry people there. They drive aggressively and get very angry at tourist who may be confused and not know exactly where they are going. I suppose one might expect that in the big city, but even in the countryside of Northern California, the people all seem angry at everyone.

Story based upon information from a anti-gun organization (thetrace.org) that opposes every 2nd Amendment position those of us on the forum support.

Man arrested in the shooting of a security guard 11 times at the San Luis Resort in Galveston. The guard is alive but in very bad shape. Our prayers for him for a full recovery.

Arrested man is believed to be part of the gorilla gang.

Ok. I'm not proud of my city's track record. We have some real violence here. I don't have to roll over without defending my city either. I'm calling you out PHILIP964.

None of these have anything to do with the topic of Houston and Murder/Robbery. You're just posting stories from a Houston news paper. These don't count. I'm watching you.

Eh eh.

Houston is the 3rd Largest City. So that makes sense. Prorated per population Houston came out at number 8.

Attacks on Houston's Metrorail becoming common.

Metro doesn't check tickets, so the homeless pretty much ride it all day to stay cool and dry or warm and dry, depending on the season.

My son got on my case, the last time we road together because I had my iphone out.
