It sounds like a gun left in the wrong place and the children not supervised. Very sad and a black eye for gun owners.

From texas3006.com it looks like it was just posted 30.07. Why did that gun get separated from the supervisory care of its owner?
Prayers for all.

They probably had a 30.06 sign posted, so the mom or dad may have left the gun in the car instead of carrying it. Still, the parents should have gotten to the car first. Most all Chuck E. Cheese restaurants have the signs posted. I would never do business there because of the signs.

The signs aren't what keep me out of Chuck E. Cheese.SIGFan43 wrote:... Most all Chuck E. Cheese restaurants have the signs posted. I would never do business there because of the signs.

The gun being available to anyone is horrible, but allowing a three year old to run across a parking lot and get in "any" car is negligence from the get-go.

This sort of preventable incident is the main ammunition for the gun grabbers. Unfortunately common sense is not common at all these days, and firearms safety isn't stressed enough by all owners.
