A few hours after winning the pole position:
“We’re all in the bus lot and Scott had to buy dinner,” said teammate Tony Kanaan, “and so there was obviously nothing open so we just said, ‘Go through a drive thru and get us some food.’ That was the only option we had.”
...
According to an IMPD report, Dixon said two young males approached his vehicle in the drive-thru lane, shoved a gun in the window and stole Emma Davies-Dixon’s purse.
Happened around 10 pm. Police using a dog caught three suspects within 90 minutes and somebody got bit. (Story says two, but the supervisor of the officers doing the catching said three: https://www.ingunowners.com/forums/brea ... -bell.html

I am leery of drive-thrus for this very reason, I'll get out and go inside, especially at night if there are cars already in them, and there is no sideways escape route. I don't even use drive-thrus at pharmacies, or banks, if there is no room to maneuver. If I haven't eaten, and it's late, there are convenience stores open and most have hot dogs or something to get me by for a little while. JMHO

A 14 and 15 year olds with guns, it's got to stop. Can't see it stopping because the thug life is what they see and embrace.
