The Royalist Brits scoff at your lilly livered constitution. In other news, the disembodied head of Oliver Cromwell says....well, not much, but you get the idea.

This is just another example of Trump's bigotry, in this case his uncaring prejudice against the dead. No criminal should be denied service in the execution chamber based on race, creed, religion, orientation, or body temperature.

NO PULSE, NO PEACE!!!

There. Fixed it for you.

I figured it didn't need an explaination as the folks here are pretty smart.

:banghead: Stupid :banghead: stupid :banghead: stupid dolts. Some people shouldn't be allowed on television to open their mouths and remove all doubts about their intelligence.

Newspapers file lawsuit to obtain police records for Nevada shooting.

MA becomes the first state to pass a law banning bump stocks, even though the police have said nothing about which weapons were used in the shooting and whether the weapons used were automatic or not.

It almost now appears that the sheriff's department is keeping information secret to protect the potential liability of the casino. That or they are chasing multiple suspects and they don't want them to vanish. Who knows.

Interesting play by play of what happened. Rather long but lots of info in it. This guy most likely saved his gf’s as well as his own life.

On TV this morning the Sherrif of the county where the Church mass murder occurred had a press conference.
It was outdoors. He spoke then gave each other law inforcement agency who was working on the case equal time to speak as well.

They listed each weapon that the murderer owned by brand name and caliber. They said which one was used and where.

If there was an area they had not fully investigated, they said that. It was very upfront.

Very professional.

I then thought back to the Vegas case. We don't even know whether the rifle used was automatic or not.

It's like night and day.

Why is it so different?

Why do we still know nothing?

Someone at work tried to make this point and I flat out asked him "How much deader would you like the Las Vegas shooter to be?" The stammering after the fact was amusing.

People need to quit being told what to believe and actually think for themselves once in a while.

Well of course. A politician is protecting one of the biggest tax payers in Clark County. That's just common sense.

Maybe they ought to call in the real professionals in from the Federal Government....

As far as why the difference between Texas and Las Vegas. I think it boils down to the fact that they probably still have no idea why the Las Vegas shooting happened. Sutherland Springs is pretty cut and dried in that sense.

Oh yes, I know you know this. My comment was for the trolls who peruse this board.

No offense intended.

Preaching to the choir here. As others have said, the Vegas shooting is a bit more difficult to unravel than the church shooting. But still. It's been well over a month. The investigation must have yielded much information already. So why the hush hush? I tend not to be a conspiracy nut, as I believe in elegant, practical, and simple solutions. But the longer Clark County and the FBI drag this on, the more I think there really is a conspiracy going on here. All we have is basically equivalent to 1 day's worth of investigation. So... where's the rest?

You are so cliche.

I have theories: (hey, some nights I don't sleep so well)
1. Whatever agency was running this Op let it get badly out of control with unintended consequences. Releasing too much info will unravel the conspiracy. The info that has been released is so screwed up that they can't fix it, so going silent is the only choice.
2. There was no lone gunman, and they are still pursuing those responsible for planning, funding and execution of the event.
3. Or they know exactly who/what/when/why and need to ensure the citizens don't find out to prevent retaliation against the types of people who did it.
