The robbery unfolded near the poker cage of the casino area just before 3:50 p.m. local time on Tuesday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said.

The suspect approached the poker cage and demanded an unspecified amount of money.

The robbery was captured on surveillance photos, Las Vegas Metro Police Captain John Pelletier said.
Not as slick as Ocean's Eleven, but it was apparently effective.

On an unrelated note, my white, male friend was just showing off his super expensive snobby looking dinner last night along with the super awesome view from his Vegas hotel. Hrm...

Considering that there are so many people around, being armed means the security won't try to get an armed perp for fear of the other guests' safety. We know that LVPD response time is pretty high, so he has a decent amount of time to get out. Also consider that the casinos have way more cash than banks would have on hand. At the end, I have to say that it was a pretty easy, solid job. But brazen nonetheless. His path out, the vehicle which he used to escape, and license plate was caught on camera though. Poor planning there.... I'm sure he'll be found and bound in no time. Oh wait, if the same folks investigating the Mandalay Bay thing also investigate this, then that guy will get away for sure.

I can tell you that the plates on the car are stolen. You probably will not see that guy in vegas again. I don’t blame the casino for bot trying to stop him, that would have been insane!
