That would Wild Bill DeBlasio’s deputy Director.

A shame. She was only exercising her right under the bill of rights and attempting to keep herself safe in the lawless East.

In her car, so in Texas, LTC or not, she would just get a howdy!

Possible NRA defense candidate?

Let 'em rot.

Two men were also in the car. No one claimed the gun, so all three were arrested, police said.
Shots fired, she's in a car at night with 2 guys and a loaded gun? Hmmmm :headscratch

de Blasio is running from this one quickly.

Funny how de Blasio supported the school walkout and now this happens.

If de Blasio was really worried about gun violence in NYC he would push for Texas style License to Carry and better training/equipment for the NYPD:
The average hit rate for NYPD Officers involved in a gunfight between 1998 and 2006 was 18 percent. For every five shots, four bullets missed the intended target and went somewhere else. And that hit rate is consistent with the "normal" hit rate in armed encounters which hasn't changed much for years and years.

Listening to Rush this afternoon, he reported that the s/n had been defaced and the two yutes were armed with knives. So, no Texas howdy and a federal beef to boot.

I don't see anything happening past probation for her or the two yutes.

What is the current trigger pull weight for NYPD Glocks? 12 pounds? No wonder they can't hit anything.

A loaded, 9mm semi-automatic pistol with its serial number defaced was hidden in the car’s glovebox, and there was a spent shell casing on the floor near Stevens’ feet in the rear of the 2002 dark red Infiniti SUV, law enforcement sources said.

The trio’s arrest followed a burst of five gunshots that activated an NYPD “ShotSpotter” device in Jamaica at 9:42 p.m. Saturday, sources said.

The listening device pinpointed the shooting at 174th Street and 109th Avenue, and private surveillance video captured the muzzle flashes of five shots fired from the Infiniti, sources said.

The handgun seized by cops has an eight-round magazine and held three cartridges — two in the magazine and one in the chamber, sources said.

That sounds pretty serious, firing off 5 shots in the middle a city. Why?

Her stepdad, Salvatore Modica, is an acting Queens Supreme Court justice. They both declined to comment.
