So what's the latest on this? Shows scheduled for a formal meeting, but no progress past that.

Some folks posted on Friday it was reported out of committee favorably, with the campus carry section still attached. The TX Legis website is slow to update sometimes. I'd imagine it is on to calendars now. It normally took a week at least from being reported out of committee to showing up 'committee report printed and distributed', but hopefully things will move faster now that we are getting to the end of the session.

This has got to be the funniest "tweet" on John Woods' TX Gun-Free Schools account I ever saw http://twitter.com/#!/sgfstexas/

John Woods' airplane flight from his "home" in Virginia leaves tonight, Monday night for Austin, Texas ... http://twitter.com/#!/mohawkjohn He went to see his sister graduate from a school where campus carry is not illegal ... bet he was terrified the entire time, probably couldn't concentrate ... poor fellow will probably be glad to get back to Texas where we have more restrictive gun laws here in the wild west than his "home" State.

Need to tweet and ask him how terrified he was.

I'm starting to like Twitter (my second day on it) I have almost every Texas Representative/Senator some US ones, most anti-gun wackos, and several GOP/Republican party/ Tea party on it ... and the Texas Commissioner on Agriculture is following me ...

I also added all the TV/Radio/Newspap[er guys who follow the Representatives/House...All sorts of funny stuff
