I have a S&W 6450 that I bought new in 1991, which was an RSR Distributor weirdo version of an early 4506. Same frame as a 1006. I sent it to Novak's 45 Shop back in 1992. Crazy thing came with a two-dot rear sight, and get this - a RED RAMP front! :-). It now has 3-dot sights. It's one of 178. It is now a slick shooter - not that it wasn't before, but it SURE is now. Has never missed a beat in all these years and many rounds fired. Best of the S&W automatics if you ask me.
