A friend of mine is selling this... asking $500. He posted it on a DFW car forum so he's looking for a FTF sale. He'll probably ship if asked.

I can forward a message or give you his contact info.

Very nice. This will sell fast.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

I've shot it and it is so nice to shoot. I think he has under 500 rounds through it. He said something about an FBI package... I'll try to get the details.
FBI Loaded package
Beavertail safety
skellotonized hammer
checkered grip fram
serrated cocking on the front of the slide
Novak low profile sights
Extended thumb safety
beveled magazine well
polished feed ramp
tuned extractor

Ha! Always up late; sleep around 4 hours a day. Don't hnow how to sell. I have liked all my recent buys. Sig P220 Stainless is a great shooter. Bought a Colt LE6920 that I hope to shoot for the first time this weekend. This 1911 looks like a really nice firearm and a good deal; be nice to know the exact model A1.

Now you can buy a brand new XD and only have to reload half as often.

IMO, that's the biggest hassle of owning a 1911 and only four mags - just when it's getting fun, I have to stop and stuff 'em again.

Maybe I need one of those Promag 40 round drum mags,
