Mossberg MVP Patrol Bolt Action Rifle .308 Win 16.5" Barrel 10 Rounds Synthetic Stock Leapers Bug Buster Scope Synthetic Stock Black

Image

The Mossberg MVP Patrol is a fast handling, accurate rifle that can be quickly deployed from a patrol car, farm vehicle or quad. It has fiber optic iron sights, and meets the Jeff Cooper description for a "scout rifle", a gun that can be rapidly deployed in tight situations. This model came equipped from Mossberg with a Leapers UTG "Bug Buster" 3-7x32 scope. Most people call Leapers entry level, but it's top end entry level, it's not bad stuff. I bought this rifle for hog hunting, zeroed it at 50 yards, and the scope is most definitely "minute of pork chop". It's equipped with the Mossberg adjustable Accu-Trigger, and accepts LR308/SR25 format AR-style magazines, as well as M-14 magazines. This rifle shoots better than I can. And holds zero cleanly.

It's equipped with a barrel mounted, extremely bright (all the lumens you could ever ask for) green light that runs on 16550 rechargeable batteries. It will cleanly illuminate a target out to 100 yards. Two batteries and a charger are included. It's in a case, has a sling, and will come with well over 125 rounds of assorted ammo. It has a 10 round Magpul PMAG magazine.

The rifle has had just shy of 100 rounds fired. It's cleanly one-shot killed three hogs, and would serve equally well for whitetail deer.

I'm selling it because (a) I don't get to hog hunt as often as I'd like and (b) I've got my eye on a lovely Colt Single Action Army (real thing, not an Italian repro). I'll take $500 cash (FIRM) FTF in Fort Worth. NOT INTERESTED IN TRADES.
