What grade do you give her for her first term?

Anyone know much about her challenger, Mike Novak?

Yeah, I've seen that. I also hear complaint that her being a rookie really hampered her effectiveness and influence. Not sure I buy that argument though. Votes on bills is only part of it. How much was she able to influence her colleagues votes?

More interested in hearing people's opinions with regard to the intangibles of influence and how savvy she is.

As a freshman Senator, she carried and passed SB864 reducing the required hours for a CHL. Sen. Campbell is very pro-gun and very conservative. She is being opposed by a group of so-called Republicans from San Antonio -- Joe Straus country.

She has a very loyal following, ME among them, I think she'll stay around.

(speaking of Strauss, I can't figure out if HE has an opponent?)
