I take it that is really the Hays County Sportsman's Complex that they are going to be running it from... I don't think Texas Tactical actually has their own range. They just run IDPA matches from 2 places - the one in Dripping Springs and one in San Antonio.

And is this an endorsement of this particular course?

I am on the Texas Tactical mailing list. I received a note a few months
ago stating that they had purchased the Hays County Range.
So, same place, new name. I have not been there however.

Kind Regards,

Yes, Mike Webb (owner of Texas Tactical) is now a range master. :) Texas Tactical stopped competing in San Antonio in late 2005. They signed a lease with the owner of the old Hays County Sportmans Park, and are in the process of turning it into a better facility.

More information:

Now, all competitions from Texas Tactical are at that range.

Thanks for the update all! I have participated in a couple of IDPA matches with Texas Tactical at that range, but it will sure be nice to KNOW what range they are going to be at. I just wish it was a bit closer to home for me...
