I am not a firearms instructor, but I live near Corinth and can recommend local ranges.

I had my wife take the basic pistol class at Denton County Sports Association in Copper Canyon, just south of Corinth. It is run by forum member Greybeard.

There is also Eagle Gun Range in Lewisville, I haven't taken any of the courses, but met a few of the instructors that helped me sight in a rifle and new scope.

Another vote for Greybeard at DCSA.

We are doing a Ladies Only Basic Handgun Class on July 18 in Roanoke.
