Debate/Town Hall Meeting with Cotton & Grisham?

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

I suspect I know what Mr. Grisham's response will be, but I propose a combination debate and town hall meeting between C.J. Grisham and myself, sometime this summer. If he accepts, I know a great location that seats 200 people and serves excellent food. Tickets would cover the cost of the event, with no profit to me or Mr. Grisham. The fee would have to be around $27 to cover the mean and rental of the event center. It could be structured such that Mr. Grisham and I each have 100 tickets available so the deck would not be stacked by either of our camps. We may even be able to broadcast it live.

How about it CJ? Are you interested in letting Texas gun owners ask us both questions and get unfiltered answers?

I'm making this a poll just to judge the level of interest.

Count me in for couple tickets for sure, if I wasn't block on their facebook page I would post it over there, but I'm willing to bet he declines.

Edited: let me rephrase I'm in depending on where, but if not sold out would get tickets anyway just to help, but could only attend depending the location

Count me in for sure! I doubt it will happen, though.

I did not vote, because it will be very unlikely that I would be able to attend. But, that is not because of lack of desire. I would gladly pay $27 and enjoy seeing that. However, due to my location and new work schedule I seriously doubt I would be capable of attending.

Love to see it! I would definitely watch a broadcast. Depending on the locale, I may also be interested in attending myself.

I'd listen online.

If I think I understand CJ's egocentric personality then I think he'll accept. He'll see himself as someone who deserves the political prestige as the NRA

This would be a battle of wits against an unarmed opponent!
Grisham will claim 'disparity of force"

Regardless, I'd be in for seeing this!

I voted yes, but couldn't travel to the ends of Texas to see it. Austin would be good, San Antonio would be good; Houston or DFW would be stretching it for me.

So make sure there's a live webcast as well -- maybe take questions texted in or IM'd or whatever...

Would be too early for me to commit without knowing when the event would take place but yes I would be there if I could .
