Buckeyes for Concealed Carry on Campus is a group of Ohio State students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, as well as fans and other non-affiliates focused on restoring the right to lawfully carry a concealed handgun on Ohio's college campuses.
STORY
Buckeyes for Concealed Carry on Campus is an undergraduate student organization at Ohio State University. The group’s sole mission is to restore the right of law-abiding citizens to carry concealed firearms on all public university campuses in Ohio. The group will work to accomplish this mission by educating the public, university, officials, and lawmakers on the facts of campus carry and lobbying to remove the restrictions on campus carry from the Ohio Revised Code.

I hope they catch this guy alive, and I sincerely hope that everyone that was taken to the hospital pulls through and we have no deaths as a result of this shooting.

Just read that. Part of me says good riddance, the other says I'd rather him pay for it while alive. I also want to know what drives people to these kinds of ends so that we can attempt to remedy the problem instead of being reactionary.

At any rate, I'm glad it's over if the reports are correct, and I hope that all 8 victims pull out of it and return to health in short order.

CNN is making it sound like it wasn't an active shooter and that the shots heard were police firing on the suspect. He drove a car into a group of people after a fire alarm went off, then he got out and cut people.

Mr Obama should be calling for a ban on fire alarms soon. But that will depend on whether any of the victims look like they could be his son. If the perp is his (hypothetical) son's look alike, then it will be a ban on police.

A campus officer nearby engaged the suspect, who was attacking people with a butcher knife, and shot and killed him.

Authorities said later that it doesn't appear that the suspect used a gun in the attack.

I am shocked and perplexed. MSLSD is reporting that this was a Somali citizen? How'd they let that one slip?

Imagine that, a law abiding citizen, an officer in this instance, stops further mayhem by using a firearm.
