CA: 7-11 Robbery gone right

Bad language, but good feelz.

Key quote:
"It's fake"
"Oh well, mines is real"
711 robbery with a twist

(Since it has naughty language, I post link instead of vid. You be warned.)

ETA: I forgot to note that the link is to a YouTube video of a robbery gone right.

When I first saw this video it was billed as happening in New Jersey, but that was off by about 3000 miles. It happened in Gardena California. I updated the title, and below is a story about the incident.

A 7-11 requiring a 'security guard' must get robbed often, but not this time scumbags...

The guard is 6 ft away, and both robbers can still walk?
Not a very good shot. They are lucky to be going to jail instead of the coroner.

He stopped the threat, therefore a perfect outcome.

He shot the first guy as he was walking in the door- one handed, never hesitated. I bet the trigger jerk from the dbl action pulled him a foot left at the original distance... which would have gotten the guy in blue COM.

As stated- threat stopped and no one killed... it's the best outcome for anyone with a vested interest.

I think the security guard has seen a few too many cheesy action flicks.

I'll take a security guard who likes cheesy action flicks any day of the week over a 7 minute 911 response time.

I'll take a security guard who likes cheesy action flicks any day of the week over cops who don't show up in time.

Yes, the original post is old. I revisit it from time to time becauseI like to watch the vide --, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside -- and it got me to wondering if there was more to the story. I didn't find anything but I did realize I had the location wrong, so corrected it.
