Bill would require gun to be out of plain view and in a locked car in the parking lot.
This mirrors Private Employer Parking Lot bill, for School Employees
Garcia: wants added Amendment requiring gunsafe in a car etc for EMPLOYEES this bill applies to (not for regular people carrying under MOTORIST PROTECTION ACT and Not for licensees since this bill doesn't apply to them)
Hughes: This removes discrimination against school employees, making them equal to regular unlicensed gun carriers in their car, or licensees carrying in their car
