Can 560 be resurrected?

Is there any... any path in which 560 could be resurrected, should a special session be called?

The Governor could add anything to a special session. I can't recall any sessions recently where a gun bill was part of the governor's agenda.

It could be, but it won't be. Don't give it a single thought.

No chance. Not 560, not 1911. They aren't going to do anything else with gun bills this year.

My understanding is there is some of the sunset stuff that didn't get thru in time. That alone will force the Governor to call a special session. In addition, I believe the property tax reform is a high priority issue, but I could be wrong on that one.

It wouldn't surprise me if the monument protection bill also got thrown into the special session. After NOLA and with the current attack on Sam Houston's statue, it's getting some press.

Gun bills..........see you in 2 years.

Just like the hot girlfriend one once had, let it go. But you can still dream at night...

A slim chance.

I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Just listened to the governor's address for the special session. Of th 12-15 items listed for the session, gun rights was not even whispered.

Anyone surprised? Did they say anything about a make up day for pictures with Tony Romo in case any of the "busy" lawmakers missed the first one?

Honestly, the chance to pass more pro gun laws ALSO includes the chance of anti gun laws to be passed. I would rather take my chips and walk!
