Michael Berry wanted cops to call in...
...and tell stories of catching people in lies.
So THIS GUY was on the air today in the 5 o' clock hour.
Shortly after my phone was blowing up - good to know I have good friends that listen to good radio.

Can you repeat the story here?

I will catch you on the pod cast, I'm typically 2 days behind but I listen to 'em all, I love his shows.

I'll be at the new redneck country club in Stafford on Saturday. It will be open for Saturday only so members can see the place before they start "the remake".

I could see 51% before 30.06.Wodathunkit wrote:Did you go? I heard him say that it was going to be 30-06.fishman wrote:I'll be at the new redneck country club in Stafford on Saturday. It will be open for Saturday only so members can see the place before they start "the remake".
Also 30-06 usually brings to mind large rifle rounds, not signage...

30-06 isn't a large rifle round.

I am absolutely gobsmacked that he's going to go 30.06. Speechless. And disappointed.gigag04 wrote:I could see 51% before 30.06.Wodathunkit wrote:Did you go? I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

Me too -- but has anyone been able to confirm this? If it is indeed 30.06, I won't even bother consider darkening the door....otherwise, I was all over it.RHenriksen wrote:I am absolutely gobsmacked that he's going to go 30.06. Speechless. I haven't seen anything to indicate this is true.

It is true, he stated on his radio program last week that he was "tired of everyone giving him advice on the RCC" he tied it all in together and mentioned that "it was going to be 30.06 that you didn't need to bring your gun because he was going to have plenty of security".gigag04 wrote:I haven't seen anything to indicate this is true.

Be that as it may, I just have heard it from others...nothing from MB himself.Wodathunkit wrote:It is true, he stated on his radio program last week that he was "tired of everyone giving him advice on the RCC" he tied it all in together and mentioned that "it was going to be 30.06 that you didn't need to bring your gun because he was going to have plenty of security".gigag04 wrote:I haven't seen anything to indicate this is true.

Go and listen to the pod cast since you can't trust anyone.gigag04 wrote:Be that as it may, I just have heard it from others...nothing from MB himself.Wodathunkit wrote:It is true, he stated on his radio program last week that he was "tired of everyone giving him advice on the RCC" he tied it all in together and mentioned that "it was going to be 30.06 that you didn't need to bring your gun because he was going to have plenty of security".gigag04 wrote:I haven't seen anything to indicate this is true.

Re: Michael Berry wanted cops to call in..
That's where I'm at. I haven't had time this last couple of weeks (too much work, a new project car, and plenty going on with the family) to go pick up the podcasts and check for myself, and I'm not going to create a stink until and unless I can confirm it. I was all set to join up and participate, but if 30.06 is in play, not only will I not participate, but I will be very vocal about exactly why.gigag04 wrote:Be that as it may, I just have heard it from others...nothing from MB himself.Wodathunkit wrote:It is true, he stated on his radio program last week that he was "tired of everyone giving him advice on the RCC" he tied it all in together and mentioned that "it was going to be 30.06 that you didn't need to bring your gun because he was going to have plenty of security".gigag04 wrote:I haven't seen anything to indicate this is true.
I sincerely hope that we've misunderstood, and that I can in good conscience get involved in this thing--it looks like it's going to be fun.
