DPS Certified CHL Instructor Logo

#1

Post by kg5ie »

OK, we were told in class not to use the DPS Certified CHL Instructor logo on our website or other materials. What are we allowed to use?

Thanks,

I believe they meant you cannot use the DPS logo on your website. That is what we have always been told. You can SAY that you are TX DPS certified, but you cannot use their logo.

Pretty much anything you design for yourself is OK, as long as it is not already copyrighted by someone else.

This is the one they said we cannot use. I don't consider it their logo...but I won't argue.

You can't use any DPS or State Seal logos per our direction from class.

Yeah, I can see where they might take offense to that since it is looks remarkably close to the DPS seal

Very smart not to argue as you will not win. :txflag:

I was looking through Marketplace and saw this one today. Dang close. I would consider it a spinoff that is too close; IMO
