Depending on the interest, I could host an instructor qualification in Weatherford. Anyone?

Anyone else hosting in Ftw area?

I don't have a range but was thinking of setting something up at Bexar Community or Bracken for those in the San Antonio area if there's any interest.

Unless someone knows of one already happening then please let me know,

I talked with DPS and Instructors can start certifying each other for the range portion of our renewal on July 1st. I'll have a look at my calendar and the PSC Calendar and post a date for anyone who wants to come. I need to get Board approval also, but I don't think that will be a problem. When a date is selected I'll set-up online registration to capture the data so I don't have to do the CHL-100s by hand. There won't be a fee.

Nice! A buddy and I always use our re-certification as an excuse to have a range day together and certify each other.
God and the soldier we adore,
In times of danger, not before.
The danger gone, the trouble righted,
God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.

The email posted was 'direct from DPS. course, we are only talking about waiting a couple of weeks. :)

I sent in my renewal. The CHL-90 form did NOT mention needing copies of my NRA cert. But, I got a follow up email asking for proof of my NRA certifications AND a copy of my initial certificate (like I still have that anywhere or could find it.)

I notice the CHL-90 has an exception "I regularly instruct others in the use of handguns...." Would all active LTC instructors qualify under that?
