Requesting legal resources area.

Mr. Cotton, texaschlforum.com is a great resource. I have learned a great deal. While I see the posts in many areas I have not found info. on legal resources. As few law enforcement members ever have to shoot, I sure the number is virtually zero for individuals. I would like to know how to be prepared in the small unlikelyhood something could not be avoided; how to find knowledgeable legal assistance and what to expect. I will be the first to walk a mile to avoid it but what if it happens? Is there a forum area for this? Thanks.
