Fingerprinting and Missing Thumb

#1

Post by 4copas »

Literally - A guy I work with has decided he wants to get his CHL. I walked him through the whole process and referred him to a few places to take the class. His one question was about being fingerprinted because he is missing one of his thumbs from an accident. Will he need some kind of official document for proof to send in since there will only be nine prints to take?

This is not a unique situation. The people at L1 should be able to document this when they submit the prints.

Thanks for the answers. I figured that was the case.

I wonder how they would handle the "six-fingered man". :mrgreen:

Yep, won't be an issue. I am missing a finger myself.

Missing fingers are not a problem for L-1. We just document it on the fingerprint record, and everything is fine.

:tiphat:
I was born with "no left hand" actually very similar to this photo, underdeveloped, though there are tiny fingers, with prints even

http://www.mirrormoms.com/?page=photos. ... %20bow.%3F" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Formerly Licensed Private Investigator, Required Prints/Background check/signing off etc from Harris County Sheriff, local city Police, and from DPS and FBI

The 2 agencies doing Prints wrote "no left hand"

For CHL, they wrote "no left hand"

It really isn't an issue
