Charles launched the Texas CHL Forum at 7:42 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2004. He expected to have about 200 members, maybe; best case. A small niche conversation board.

Today, we're closing in on one million licensed Texas handgun carriers, and we've surpassed one million posts on this Forum.

Thank you. All of you. Please keep postin'.

I’ve contacted my State Rep, Gary Elkins, about co-sponsoring HB560. Have you contacted your Rep?

I remember way back close to the beginning when we hit the 1000 member mark. Charles was amazed at that. Now we have over 1,000,000 posts and closing in on 17,000 members.

Charles, thank you for a place to hang my online hat and thank you to everyone that has helped make this forum what it is today. There are some truly informed people here that don't mind helping others.
