Four Guns for Sale

#1

Post by The Annoyed Man »

I have 4 used guns for sale here. Prefer FTF, DFW.
  1. Stoeger Uplander Side by Side 12 gauge Shotgun

    PRICE: $350.00

Nice wood stock, with blemishes on left side of buttstock. Double triggers, 3" chambers. Not sure what the marks mean, but the left barrel has a screw-in choke with one "*" mark on it, while the right barrel has a screw-in choke with 3 "***" marked on it.

    Barrel is 28" long.

  2. Remington 870 Express 12 Gauge Pump Action Shotgun

    PRICE: $250.00

This 870 has a synthetic stock which has been hand-painted in a striped camo pattern. It has a screw-in choke extending from the muzzle, marked RCTK2 on the top of it. This shotgun has a 27" barrel and a 3" chamber.

  3. Remington 597 Semiautomatic Rifle .22LR

    PRICE: $150.00
    (Price marked down from $200.00)

This rifle is strictly a knockabout gun. It is lacking a recoil pad on the buttstock, but that is easily replaced. It has a low power Leupold scope with duplex reticle mounted. The rear sight ramp is still mounted, but the blade is missing from the gun. Front sight is still mounted and intact. Rifle comes with one (1) magazine.

  4. Smith & Wesson Model 22-A1 pistol, .22LR

    $250.00

This is a basic semiautomatic target pistol / plinker chambered in .22LR. Appears to be in good shape. Comes with one (1) magazine. It has no storage case.

No, it doesn't mean anything. I got these guns from a friend of mine, who hand painted this and several other guns in a similar pattern, all with the same kind of marking on the buttstock. The stock was originally black. See my thread for a .264 Winchester Magnum for sale. There are other guns that he didn't get rid of that still have the same pattern on them. It was just his thing, I think.

Price on the .22 rifle has been adjusted.

I thought that maybe because it was camouflaged, it was to let you know which end to put up to your shoulder, when you are out in the field or the duck blind.:biggrinjester:
