Not yet, but the Shield .45 keeps calling out to me
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Beautiful STI. Does the left safety bother you a lot while carrying?

I occasionally bust out a full-size Rock Island GI model in .45. It might not be the prettiest but man is it a tack driver.

Thanks, it shoots better than it looks!

The safety doesn't bother me at all, since it rides in a sweat shielded holster. I intentionally left it big and was going to slim it down more later. Well, I never got around to shaving it down. :fire

Two Remington R1's and a Springfield Champion (via Longtooth). Not sure if its really the gun or simply that I have more confidence and comfort with the platform, but the R1 is the pistol that I shoot best. I like the Champion a lot as well and often CC it.

RIA Compact, Springfield Operator and Glock 30 SF....45 is my favorite caliber to shoot although lately i tend to carry a 9mm due to smaller size and a little more capacity....

Springfield XDs in .45 for EDC IWB.
Sig 1911 stainless.
CZ 97BD
Just traded a Springfield XD Tactical (5" barrel) in .45 ACP for a (possibly never fired) 1967 Winchester Model 94 in .30-30. Hated giving up the XD, but gained a nice lever gun.
I also ave an old Webley revolver (manufactured in 1917), that I can shoot .45 ACP with half-moon clips, or .45 Auto Rim without clips.

A Kimber ultra crimson carry ii has become my EDC. 1911's were all over the place when I had my awakening to self defense.

Cocked and locked, chambered, comforting, calming, and safe.
