I was stationed in Saudi Arabia with the U.S. Air Force and on the weekends we would ride dirt bikes (enduros or motocrosses) in the sand dunes. I had never ridden a motorcycle before and the learning curve was pretty steep, ergo "Crash."

Wife was born and raised in NOLA - I lived there for 2/3 of my life. Moved 3 months before Katrina. God is good.
I was just outside of Baton Rouge for both Katrina and Rita.

I met some very interesting people after Katrina. We had the room and the ability to help a few folks in the days following. They're memories I'll never forget.
One couple was still with us when Rita hit. They're in California now. We keep in contact from time to time. That reminds me I haven't talked to them in a while. I think I'll call tonight.

On April 6th, 2008, then presidential candidate Barack Obama spoke to a San Francisco, California fundraiser about his difficulties in rural Pennsylvania:
" And its not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them...as a way to explain their frustrations."

And hence, my user name was inspired! :mad5

Let's see! I like Pink Floyd. People always say, "Hello Wall," and then ask if I like Willie Nelson. No that's not it. I use to tell my ex-wife, "talking to you is like talking to the wall. No that's not it. Oh! Now I remember. The first three letters of my name are W A L L. ;-)

Some local guys started up a clan for a computer game called Tribes 2. The name convention was a lowercase "l" to start, followed by vowel(s), and then the next consonant string had to include a capital K. Guess you could say it stuck like glue :P ( yet the genesis had nothing to do with the popular Loctite ).

I think mine is self explanatory. It's also my brand "0C". My wife thinks I ought to use "no sense." It would fit too.

Absolutely the best dog I've ever owned was a blue merle Australian Shepherd. She lived to be 16 y/o. I miss her dearly to this day.
