He's becoming quite the little shooter with my old Ruger 22/45 Mk II. It lives at their house now and will continue to for quite a while longer.
He loads the magazines without assistance or complaint. Check out his booger hook in that picture!
Anyone who's used one of these knows how stiff the safety and bolt-release buttons are. William has his own method of dealing with that!
Although it's hard to see in this pic, almost all of his hits are inside the 10-ring.
He also put a couple of mags through his dad's Ruger P89 (9mm).
And finally, he shot one round out of the P220.
My son says after that one round of .45ACP, his eyes were WIDE open as he laid down the pistol and said, "WOAH!"
