If what this guy says is true then we’re about to experience the fruits of the open border folly.

Two heros who died but saved their kids. If you can't see the entire post, they stayed in the fight until they died. They took out 7 terrorists as they did have weapons.

Do you have a source for this? I was not able to locate one.. Would be appreciated. :tiphat:

I have suspected something like the forecast in the link for a long time. As a country, we have too many wimps and, based on the demonstrations, too many terrorist sympathizers. If the waves of attacks start, it wouldn't surprise met to immediately hear screams for a police state.

I've read the logic that says that no self-defender needs a spare magazine. For criminals, that seems accurate. For terrorists, all bets are off.

Emily Miller writes on Israel strict gun control laws.

Much worse than I thought. Loosened a little. Allows now only 100 cartridges instead of the previous limit of 50.

Geez people!

And what they suffered was unbelievable. A Fox News reporter in-country said today that the Hamas terrorists went door-to-door. If they could gain entry, they executed everyone in the home, including small children no matter how young. If they couldn't quickly gain entry, they simply torched the home with everyone inside.

We are in Cold War 2.0 and while its clear our border has been wide open and illegals are getting bigger checks than retirees that spent an entire lifetime paying into social security...I expect terrorist and insurgent operations to occur worldwide.

Lines have been drawn and China, Russia, North Korean, and Iran are clearly in an alliance.

We know the TOP MEN have a history of encouraging terrorism in Texas... and failed in SO VERY MANY ways during the Colleyville terror event so I don't see that they will be helpful in the slightest.

At this point all I can do is pray and train those willing to fight for good against evil.

It seems HAMAS had excellent intelligence and murdered those most vulnerable. This was clearly a factor:
Israeli law allows citizens to carry weapons under certain conditions, but gun ownership in the country remains low, around 2 percent
I suspect that the number of Israeli's currently allowed to carry weapons is even lower than the 2% ownership level.

I guess 2% was a "rounding error":
Currently, a mere 1.5 percent of the civilian population has a license to own a gun.
The laws that require proving “a need” to own and carry a gun have not changed....The narrow eligibility criteria for Israelis to apply for a gun license remain the same as before the attack. You are eligible to apply only if you live or work in the settlement areas or are employed in professions that use guns — like security guards, police officers, or firefighters. Active duty military, military veterans of a certain rank, and special forces can also apply.

Israel: Draconian Gun Control in a Country in Desperate Need of a 2nd Amendment.
Licenses for rifles and shotguns are virtually non-existent....Only about 100 of us have rifles, grandfathered from our days as volunteer police precision marksmen and women. We are now members of the Israeli Rifleman Association. Last time I asked, there remained the requirement that one must be an “active” shooter (participate in a minimum of five national competitions a year) for three years before being able to apply for a license to purchase and possess a rifle. The Rifleman Association and the Israeli Shooting Federation must recommend one for a rifle license and endorse one’s application in writing. Then it is lots of luck.

...WD: Is there an anti-gun political lobby in Israel?

HL: YES. It is called the Government. It is scared of armed folks.

WD: It seems the Israeli gun lobby cannot get traction due to a liberal/socialist leaning population. Is there an effective pro-gun political lobby in Israel?

More:
Deadly terror attacks against the civilian population are becoming a daily occurrence, yet the Israeli government enforces some of the most extreme gun control measures in the world, completely denying citizens the right to bear arms.

“Many of these terror attacks could easily be stopped if the civilian population was armed. However, in Israel, only police, military, security personnel, and a very small handful of privileged civilians who fall into several “eligible categories” have access to firearms. The average citizen has no right to own any type of weapon whatsoever, and doing so illegally will land him or her in jail for many years. In situations like these, selecting who gets to have access to firearms and who doesn’t is the equivalent of selecting who gets to live or die.

The death toll now stands at 1,008, with at least 3,418 injured

Netanyahu should take responsibility for his failure to protect his people and resign.

If ANY country in the world needed a 99% firearm owner rate, other than the US, it would be Israel. What the heck?

This guy lives in the USA.

I am reminded of the cheering and joy after Palestinians learned of 9/11.
