357 SIG ammo

#1

Post by OverEasy »

FYI:
The Wal-Mart on 249 @ Spring Cypress has Winchester White Box 357 SIG for $13 something per 50 rds. I saw it today (8/3/05).
If you can afford $209 at one pop, http://www.ammoman.com will ship you a case of Federal ( that's $10.45/50 rds) He has some loose packed Speer Gold Dots in nickel cases for $229/1000 ($11.45/50rds).
Just passing on some info for any other 357 SIG shooters on the board. This was the 1st time I had seen 357 SIG ammo at Wal-Mart. I guess anything is possible??

The Wal Mart in Farmers Branch at Midway Road and LBJ also has the value paks of 357SIG. In addition, for the first time, I saw value paks of 7.62X39.

I just got back from the "Real Gun Show" at the Pasadena Civic Center. I bought some Winclean 105 grain range ammo in .357 SIG for $9.95/box of 50.

I've been buying it there for several months. I don't care about the lead free feature, but it's the cheapest regular price I've been able to find for brand name new .357 SIG. The recoil is a little lighter than the regular 125 grain ammo, but it functions well in my Sig P239.

I've been using this too. I get it from Military Gun Supply in Fort Worth for $10.95 per 50. (used to be 9.95  )
Anyway, it's in a green and gold box and it says Winchester NT on it. It's really good ammo for practice.

I'm bumping this thread because my Walmart still doesn't carry it.

Any fresh deals anyone wants to share?

I am always finding good deals on a bargin table at Gander Mountain. 40 round boxes of 7.62x39 for $2.00 a box. Bought all they had on the table which was 10 boxes. 400 rnds for $20 ain't bad at all, even for 7.62x39.
