Goodbye SR22....Hello LCR .22

Postby timtheteacher » Sat Jan 28, 2017 6:14 pm

Well I finally got tired of the FTF's and jams in my SR22 and said goodbye to it a few months ago. Found a 8 shot LCR .22 today at the Academy in Greenville after a long search. Will use it as a plinker at the range and may carry it on occasion in warm weather after I feel comfortable with shot placement.

Very nice. I'm surprised your Ruger semi had so many problems. And Wow! I have to say Greenville is in the big time with an Academy!

I've been eyeing 22 revolvers for a while just haven't dove in yet.
I briefly had an sr22, it didn't jam but it just didn't mesh with me so I sold it

Mine was very picky on ammo. The best results was M-22 but that wasn't always reliable. Just got tired of it

I've got that LCR .22lr. It is a great plinker. It always goes bang!
