Identifying Gold Dot Bullets

#1

Post by SIGFan43 »

I need help identifying a Gold Dot 9mm cartridge. Neither one is marked +P on the head stamp. The one on the left is a 124 gr JHP, stock #23618. I have four loose rounds of the one on the right, but no longer have the box to identify it with. It might be a 115gr JHP, and the cavity and serrations are completely different from the #23618. I have weighed both cartridges in grams on a digital kitchen scale, and four cartridges at one time weight 50 grams in each different bullet type. Is it possible the cartridge on the right is also a #23618 with an older design bullet? I cannot find an image of the cartridge on the right anywhere online. Can anyone help?
