Time for a Shield!

If you've been looking for a reason to pick up a S&W Shield, you have no more excuses. S&W is offering $75 rebates on Shields and $50 rebates on Bodyguards. This will make for some great shopping opportunities for those of you in the market for either of these items. Happy hunting!

Yup. I think Bud's has them for $329(9mm) which makes the price after rebate about $255 w/no tax and free shipping. I'm sure there are a lot of other good deals out there as well. All the folks that have been pondering the 45 model should be all over this. That's a great price for a gun that I've really enjoyed.

Yes sir. That's another great deal. The only problem with this promotion is that if you are currently looking to sell your used Shield, you may as well forget it.

Thats a very good deal for such a great firearm. I've had my shield 9mm for a year and a half and still love it.

I ordered one through the shop by my office. I don't really need one, but the deal was too good to pass, and it'll be nice to have something that small to carry on occasion.

I'm quite fond of my Shield, but just be aware that its strong recoil spring may not be received well by inexperienced female shooters, given the common difficulty with slide racking.

I'm reading the terms of this rebate to say that you can buy as many of these as you want (not limited to one per household). If so, I may need to get one in 9mm and another in 45 ACP.

I've had mine in 9mm since last Oct and really like carrying and shooting it. This deal makes me want to get another one just to have, but since I just bought a Sub 2000 last weekend I think I'll hold off.

I agree about the spring being very stiff. My sister thought she wanted a Shield then she shot one and had lots of trouble racking the slide.

I looked at the kentucky gun co web site but the shield in there sells for 324. I might have missed something.
