[sarcasm]......because Channel 2 is more knowledgeable and better staffed to investigate DIY firearms than BATF.....not to mention better able to define "wrong hands".......[/sarcasm]
One more case of "if there ain't a story here, MAKE one!"

Well TAM, you know that guns with serial numbers are always easy to trace because criminals haven''t figured out how to remove them. Not to mention the fact that most criminals, don't leave guns behind at crime scenes. That only happens in Godfather movies, "leave the gun, take the canolies"
I'm sure that as we speak, well trained machinist gang members are cranking out DIY guns by the hundreds.

Be careful about knocking the CNC Gang on a public forum Jusme, they might come hunt you down !Jusme wrote: Well TAM, you know that guns with serial numbers are always easy to trace because criminals haven''t figured out how to remove them. They're called "Ghost Guns" and are even more dangerous than Assault Weapons.

Don't these guns have child seeker bullets that automatically target innocent children? The Annoyed Man wrote:Even more so in GFSZ areas......ScottDLS wrote:They're called "Ghost Guns" and are even more dangerous than Assault Weapons.

I don't understand what the point of this was all about. They spent over $500. for a 80% kit. Then spent who knows how much to get it put together, That ended up with a serial number anyway. All for a gun that jams. They didn't even keep the the gun!!!
What they didn't mention is how few of these guns are involved with actual crimes. How difficult it is to actually finnish the work into a reliable firearm. From what I have seen most of these kits are bought but never built. Very few of us are qualified machinist with the proper equipment.
If one really wants one there are better ways to buy cheaper better untracable weapons.

Yes. How about buy a traceable one that's stolen? You think the illegal seller is going to have you do the 4473?Liberty wrote:I don't understand what the point of this was all about. This would qualify as a "ghost report". Untraceable use of common sense.
