We (my son and I) have a new addition. Finally bought a Desert Eagle XIX Tungsten in .44mag.
Have wanted one for years. Can't wait to feel it go "BANG".

Hold on tight!
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

First I need to find a belt to hold up my pants. My 2" can't get it done.

Finally got the pic posted. If weather holds, going to shoot at my son's place tonight.
Also going to test new optics on the AR. ACOG. Another new toy.

And some serious suspenders with built in cable reinforcement!

May require a holster position where I can employ a two-handed drawing ability.
I've got fairly large hands, but ...... I do like the suspender suggestion.
Otherwise after drawing the gun, the pants are too loose and fall down.

Recoil for the Deagle is actually more mild than for the .44 mag revolvers, so while there is lots of drama aa with any .44, it's not really traumatic.

BE ADVISED.... if you reload for this gun, pay special attention to the powders you use. Desert Eagles can seize up the rotating bolt if there is too much dirt/carbon buildup in the action. When it happened to a friend of mine back in Californistan, it was a trip to the gunsmith to get it freed up. After that, he paid a lot more attention to the kind of powders he reloaded with, and the problem went away.

PS: forget the holster. Buy a caisson and a set of wheels for it, and hitch it to the back of your ride.

There's actually two kinds of Deagles. The Desert Eagle, and the round ones like a ball, sometimes called a "Ball Deagle." :biggrinjester:

I like the caisson idea. Won't be reloading, yet. This one will eat only factory ammo of a good quality.
