Good thing I am freeman and I am the household bread-earner. My Family can take upto 90% of my income and 10% are for my toys and hobbies. You see, I am very reasonable family of the first order. :biggrinjester:

There are two universal truths that you must know. They will help you get along better with any woman.

1. It is ALWAYS a woman's prerogative to change her mind.
2. It's not important that you understand.

Remember these will only help. If you think that you understand women then you are severely mistaken.

They sure can be difficult to figure out. That's how we ended up with a motorcycle again.

You guys are funny. When I want to buy a gun, I say "I'm going to [insert name of death merchant here] to check out the [name gun here], so don't be surprised if I come home with it." And then I go, and I buy or not buy according to whateve I decide at the merchant's place of business. About a week or so after I bring the gun home, when the swelling has gone down over my dominant eye, and I can smile again without cracking open the split lip, I take it to the range and shoot it.

I wear the pants in my family, by golly, whether or not my wife has a good right hook and a solid left jab!

I'm sure most of ya'll have seen that commercial where the dad is driving the car and the wife and kids all have their ear buds in and heads in their phones? All the while he's talking about having a new putter that they don't know about and it's nice. A coworker of mine says he thinks about me every time he sees that commercial.

I got a new Gold Cup that you don't even know about. And it's nice. Oh yeah, and an ACOG too. Funny thing about the ACOG is that it is out in plain sight on the M4 next to the bed. She may have noticed or may not that it is different than the Eotech that it replaced. IDK, but she hasn't asked about it.

I'm still considering the possibility that wanting to get another motorcycle was only a ploy to distract me from any further firearm related purchases.

You buy a new gun, sneak it into the house, (tough part here) you keep it hidden for a couple of weeks(days?) Then when she finally sees it and asks "did you buy a new gun? Your reply is oooh nooo I've had this for awhile!

It works! I can testify to that method for several years. (at least my wife pretends it works) :biggrinjester:

"rlol" "rlol"

Reminds me of the joke I heard where the husband told his wife that he was tired of her being in charge, and that he was going to make all of the decisions from now on. He said he didn't see her for two weeks. By the third week, the swelling had gone down enough in his left eye that he was able to see some light through it.

I have found that gun purchases are much less of a battle, when I go with her to the jewelry store, and let her pick a new sparkly rock and shiny metal, trinket she likes. I then tell her that the guns I have, won't be enough protection, when she and I are out in public, with her wearing her expensive new criminal bait.
