I just got on their mailing list and they seem to have good prices. Flat fee shipping and free on large ammo orders. It's in Abilene but they do NOT have a storefront. I asked about local pickup and they said nope!

Because Cheaper Than Dirt is a garbage organization, and one that hasn't gotten a single buck from me since 2008. I recommend you look up some of the things they've done in the past 10 years. I don't want to hijack Abraham's thread.
I just looked it up, and wow. It's funny how for so many years I've been buying stuff from them and never once had an issue with them or noticed anything hinky about them. For the most part I shop Midway because they are the cheapest, but very often, I see CTD come out ahead, and will pounce on it due to my pragmatism. Brownells, on the other hand, I keep hearing people rave about them, and yes, I shop from them time to time. I even went to their retail store in Grinnell. But I've had quite a few issues with them (poor quality of parts, buggy website, unorganized staff, etc). In fact, my first experience ever shopping with them turned into a double order because their website kept 404ing on me. That's not going to stop me from shopping with them, though, since every issue was understandable and minor in reality.

I like Cabellas on line. They also have a 5% Veteran's discount. Free shipping if you pick up at stores.

I must confess I have bought from Cheaper than Dirt. They had what I wanted. but their prices aren't all that great. I did feel dirty after ordering from them though.

Used these guys basically all the time when I lived in Illinois - very quick and great service. Still is my go-to to see what Glock mag prices are.

TAM,

When I logged on this morning, (before I read your post) I'd already placed my order with Midway.

Before ordering, I exhaustively researched all the recommendations and as it turned out Midway provided the best deal.

I'd like to once again thank all of you for your help.

Another website I forgot about. Gunbuyer. I've bought from them several times and got some terrific deals. One thing to mention, they have several warehouse options so you have to be careful to get the lowest price. I called them a couple of times to make sure I got the right price on the guns I ordered and they were very helpful.

Huh, I always thought CTD stood for Cheaper Than Diamonds...

I second JG Sales and AIM Surplus. They've been good to me for many years.

I also like Midway quite a bit if for nothing else than Larry Potterfield puts out some neat videos on Facebook.
