I spotted one at the pawn shop the other day and they said I could buy it for $300 plus tax. It has the shoter 4-5/8" barrel. Would that be a good price for one of these? I like the size and feel of it, and I do like the .44 Special caliber too.

I bought two Ruger SuperBlackhawks in SS with 4-5/8 barrels about 3 years ago for $1,200 ± with tax.
Last time I priced them the best price was $200-300 higher.
$300 + tax in good to excellent condition sounds good.
