Best way to get ammo count?

All I can suggest is to sort by caliber and count boxes. Each caliber typically comes in boxes of a fixed amount though there are exceptions.

I have my SD ammo boxes sorted and counted...it's the bulk stuff that doesn't come in the neat boxes of 50/100/250 sitting in ammo cans that is my issue.
