New Colts 1911 are very good pistols. However, they are bit more expensive than the competition. RIA, Remington and SW all have good 1911.
On the other, a trigger job would make a good 1911 an excellent shooter.

I shot this today shooting double taps 9 rounds should have loaded 1 in the pipe for 10 but last mag for the day

Nice! I have the same model but I'm .45 ACP. It's my first and only Colt, 1911, and .45. Love it! It's by far my favorite shooting handgun.

Well I'm the opposite all my other 1911 are 45 this is my first 9 in 1911. And my 2nd Colt I really love this one best.
