I have waited for this one for a long time. It's a 9 competition model . I had to drift the rear sight a little and it's dead on now . :fire

I've always had a soft spot for Colts. Me likes

The firearms not baby horses. Somebody will take that out of context with out me clarifying.
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

Very sharp looking. I especially like the grips too.
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

Are these new colts the same Colts our grandpas talked about? Keep in mind I’m 24. I used to hear that the Colt was the end all be all 1911. I’m not an expert by any means on 1911’s and I don’t know very much about them. I have been on a quest for a 1911 in the future and would like to get one in 9mm. I will be following this post for knowledge.

Beautiful! Sadly, I can only dream about a pistol like this, but I keep buying those Texas Lottery tickets....

I shot a Colt in the marine corps back in the 70's a 45
Mine is a series 70 and all the parts are the same except the 2x recoil springs. 1911 is by far my fav weapon. No trigger imho can match a 1911 and this Colt is by far the best right out of the box compared to my rugers, sig, para.
