Ruger SP101 2” holster

#1

Post by cmgee67 »

Howdy partners, I am looking for a rig for my SP101 2 inch. I have looked at several including desantis, don Hume, milt sparks and safariland. I am going to carry it iwb most of the time and owb every now and again. So I’ll prob end up with two holsters. For a revovler I like leather not kydex like I used for my semis. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks y’all stay safe and someone turn up the temp! 35 degrees in April ain’t workin for me.

I assume the DeSantis Sof-Tuk wasn't doing it for you? Besides leather what else are you looking for in it?

I should probably go on record saying that I don't own a revolver or a Sof-Tuk but I do enjoy window shopping from time to time and my Google-fu is strong. :biggrinjester:

Not a fan of that kind of clip.

I like Soft loops with pull dot snaps or belt loops.

DM Bullard Dual Carry will take care of IWB and OWB all in one holster.

Closest I get to IWB is when the barrel of my 3” pokes below my belt line when riding under my dress shirt, in a bellyband.

There's Tucker Gun Leather and then there's everything else.

When I carry my SP101 I use a Simply Rugged pancake. He will set it up where it will work as a iwb holster as well as owb. I have carried iwb a few time and it is more comfortable than I thought it would be. I don’t carry it anymore due to the wife took it away from me. I might get it back someday when I find her something she likes better.
