New trigger!!

#1

Post by Grundy1133 »

So I finally got my Apex Tactical AEK for my M&P and OMG what a difference it makes! I'm in love with this trigger setup!the center safety vs the manufacturers pivoting safety is so much better. It reduces my over travel by like 40%! I wish I had changed this trigger out when I first got the gun. :anamatedbanana

I replaced my M&P trigger too with an Apex Duty Carry and it made a nice difference in smoothness.

I also painted my slide and my mags. I think it give them a sleek clean look opposed to the bland uncolored engraving.

So help me to understand here..... you put a Glock trigger in a M&P? :smilelol5:

Why not just buy the Glock and be done with it? :woohoo "rlol" :woohoo

I can't answer for Grundy1133, but for me most Blocks just doesn't speak to my hand the way the M&P does.

FWIW to anyone who doesn't already know, there are various iterations of the APEX trigger group pieces that can be used in the M&P line, from straight or curved triggers with the Glock-like safety blade, to springs, sears and striker blocks. We have different setups in different guns, but all of them feature the APEX hard sear and either the APEX striker block or the factor striker block with a radius to emulate the APEX unit. I can take or leave the Glock-like blade in the APEX triggers themselves as compared to the factory articulating trigger -- at least for the curved triggers. I do like the forward reset straight triggers with the safety blade, though.

It's modeled after the glock trigger but https://store.apextactical.com/WebDirec ... egoryId=20 is the trigger i ordered. I use the M&P because I like it. love everything about it but the trigger.
