One heck of a story.
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.
Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.

With a $15 a day range fee, I just can't afford to do it that way!
Re: Carlos Hathcock Method of Sighting In a Rifle
Wow. Even if the range time was free, just the gas and time to drive there and do it this way would be impossible. One shot a day for at least a few months? I understand the different conditions different positions different positions part, but heck just driving 100+ round trips to the range in Houston I think would change the scopes zero from all the bouncing around.cyphertext wrote:With a $15 a day range fee, I just can't afford to do it that way!

Re: Carlos Hathcock Method of Sighting In a Rifle
HAHA is it bad that my first thought was "Nope, see you some other day"Then about the 12th of December, it was REALLY cold and it seemed like an artic wind was blowing, there was about four inches of snow on the ground and freezing rain was falling. He called me up and told me to meet him at Range 4 at noon. I had gotten to know him well enough to joke, “Do you really want to watch me shoot in this kind of weather? He chuckled and said, “Well, are you ever going to hunt in this kind of weather?” I sighed and said, “See you at noon.”
But I guess I am not the target audience for that line of thinking. I only hunt nuisance hogs and don't require it to feed my family. So if I was going hunting and looked out the window to see that, I would cuddle right back up in bed with my wife.
