The unnamed 36-year-old from Independence Township, Michigan, was demonstrating how his three handguns are safe when they are not loaded by holding them to his head and pulling the trigger, Detroit Free Press reported.
But when the third gun went off, the man was struck in the head with a bullet. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The man’s girlfriend told police that he had been drinking most of the day before he died, and sheriff’s officials said alcohol appears to have been a factor in the incident, according to CBS Detroit."
Alcohol and guns don't play well together.

My cousin's wife did that on purpose and lived. His marriage was a nightmare until she finally agreed to a divorce several years later. Bad wife, worse shot.

I sure wouldn't want to be the one trying to convict someone of murder given the circumstances. Might just get laughed out of court. It would almost take someone bragging about it to make a case.

That was what I wondered also. For all we know he had done this before and she knew he would go for it again. She throws a round in one of the guns and simply waits. About the only way they would ever be able to tie this together would be if her finger prints happen to be on that gun and were also on the empty casing.
