Free old wheel weights

#1

Post by michael e »

I have 4 boxes. So about a full 5 gallon bucket of ones I will not be using anytime soon and getting ready to move. They are free, but won't deliver them. Pasadena beltway 225. Have class every night for next 10 weeks so would have to get on Saturday.

I'll take 'em. I'll send a PM with my telephone number.

Any other reloading stuff you want to avoid having to move?

How does this Saturday look?

Sho 'nuff! And they are sitting pretty in my garage right now waiting for cool weather to return so I can transform dirty old wheelweights into nice shiny ingots! :thumbs2:

Thanks again michael e!!

That's a good deal. Good old lead WW's are getting harder to find now that zinc is replacing the lead.

Cool weather's a comin' ... :cheers2:

Meanwhile, I already have an unknown number of thousands of bullets already cast from previous cold weather sessions, so I am in no hurry to convert these from wheelweights to:

It is the Magma Engineering lube, sold by the same company that made my Magma Engineering Star Lube-Sizer.

I know the lube is harder than many of the purists would consider ideal, but Houston is so hot I'd rather not have all the lube running out of my bullets and creating a sticky mess.
